Host a Radio Show

  1. I am a Registered Nurse, published author and sexuality expert from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. My area of expertise is “sexy”, which is an important life skill that many health care providers forget to address — especially after someone has experienced cancer. I am a volunteer with Princess Margaret Hospaital in their survivorship program and teach a workshop called “50 Shades of Sexy” which started as a result of an expressed need from the people they serve (their patients felt like their wasn’t much support regarding sexuality and body image post cancer).

Currently, I am organizing a virtual symposium for cancer survivors. It’s called “Tools to Thrive” and is bringing together some of the world’s leading experts on various aspects of survivorship that are not often talked about (sexuality, body image, how to communicate to your partner about your sexuality and needs post cancer, overcoming grief and depression, and so much more). The response has been FANTASTIC and, in addition to creating the symposium, I would LOVE to continue the momentum and to spread the message even more by hosting a radio show on your station. The show would not only add value to the lives of your listeners, it would grow the listenership of your station through increasing the visibility of your station through the numerous channels we will be advertising the Symposium on.

Essentially, my vision for the show is to interview experts each week on various aspects of survivorship and anchor it into research to validate WHY what’s being shared is important.

Please let me know if this interests you and your listeners. I am also available to speak on the phone or via email at any time.

This past June I was offered an amazing opportunity to become the face of health and wellness for a younger generation. We developed my radio show Empowered:A Young Woman’s Guide to Staying Smart and Staying Healthy for life! It premiered on Adrenaline radio and in of January 2014 moved to LA Talk radio, where it has gained a large fan base quickly. I recently started writing for The Huffington Post as well. This past year I have taken a hiatus from my show to become the Regional Director of a Non Profit called Imerman Angels. We pair cancer patients with cancer survivors as a mentorship program. I’d love to discuss opportunities on your station with you as I continue interview leading and some of the most well known doctors in their field, bringing medical content to all generations in an easy to understand way, I can’t help but think the show would be a great fit for your station. You can read my Bio and listen to my shows at the below link. For a quick overview of my show I have attached my reel!
