ADVOCACY HEALS YOU, TODAY 2:00 pm ET, BREEZY BOCHENEK

This is one of those shows that will take your breath away, and leave you filled with hope and inspiration! Breezy Bochenek was a typical 9-yr.-old until 2011, when she was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer just above her left knee. Breezy quickly had a life-altering choice to make – try to save her leg and live a more sedentary life, or amputate her leg and be as active as possible. Inspired by Sarah Reinertson completing the Ironman with an above the knee prosthetic, Breezy said: “if Sarah was the first women with a prosthetic to finish the Ironman, maybe I can be the youngest.” After treatment, Breezy was declared cancer free. She and her family are now involved in many paths to give back and help others, including being part of the Challenged Athletes Foundation. Breezy completed her first Triathlon on May 4th, only 3 weeks after receiving her running leg granted by CAF. Show hosts: Joni Aldrich (www.jonialdrich.com and Chris Jerry (www.emilyjerryfoundation.org). (If you miss the live show, tune in Sat. at 3:00 p.m. ET on W4CS for the rebroadcast!)
